Digital 3D scanning is the latest technology in the field of dental medicine, enabling dentists to quickly and accurately capture impressions for various types of prosthetic work such as crowns, bridges, veneers, implants, and more.
In just a few minutes, we can obtain impressions of both jaws, completely painless and safe for the patient.
At Cirkonij Centar, we utilize the Trios 3Shape, one of the best digital oral scanners on the market. Its ergonomically designed probe fits perfectly in the patient’s mouth and captures high-quality photographs, delivering high-resolution 3D images of the teeth and jaw.
Using these scanners, a final 3D digital impression of the patient’s jaw is created, based on real data. The device can differentiate between all soft and hard tissues in the oral cavity, as well as capture all movements of the patient’s jaw.
This eliminates any potential measurement errors, and the possibility of inaccuracies during the scanning process is minimized to a negligible minimum.

The diagnostic digital wax-up is a tool that provides dentists, patients, and dental technicians with insights into the possible outcome of the treatment and valuable information on how to achieve the desired results.
It involves digitally “waxing” the planned restoration on a model to predict the optimal aesthetic and functional outcome, as well as the clinical and laboratory steps required to achieve it.
The digital wax-up is a three-dimensional representation that mimics the desired shape of the teeth after the treatment, allowing for modifications until the proposed treatment is fully accepted.
The wax-up helps determine the most favorable shape and position of the restoration.
Using the digital wax-up, a mock-up is created in the patient’s mouth.
The mock-up is made directly in the patient’s mouth using bis-acrylic temporary material, which is removed immediately after analyzing the smile in the mouth.
It provides us with an insight into the final restoration and helps us identify any shortcomings or necessary corrections.
Grinding the teeth means reducing the volume of the tooth mass in order to create enough space for the creation of prosthetic work which, after cementation on the teeth, will be fully functional and aesthetic.
After grinding, a digital impression of the polished brackets is taken, and a temporary prototype is created in the dental laboratory based on this scan, which should correspond to the final work.
After tooth preparation, temporary replacements are immediately fabricated for the patient in the dental office, which is later replaced by temporary restorations made from a more durable material.
After a thorough analysis using digital technology and temporary restorations, and with the approval and satisfaction of the patient, the final restoration is fabricated from the agreed-upon aesthetic material. The final restoration, whether it’s a crown, bridge, or other dental work, is carefully cemented in place using a specific permanent cement.
